This 1940's redbrick bungalow which was recently purchased in March 2019 was in need of a little update. After chatting to its owners Jonas and Rebecca we decided on a contemporary/coastal feel which will suit their lifestyle and the idyllic seaside location.
When planning the project a lot of factors came into play, 1) budget and 2) what existing features in the house we wanted to keep.
We decided on keeping all window frames in the original teak finish interior and timber flooring in hallway and kitchen.
Here are the Design Concept Moodboards created for each of the rooms, we wanted to create a cohesive flow throughout the entire home. Our colour palette was charcoal, grey, white and timber.
House Exterior: We painted all the eaves, door trim, window frames in DULUX - Domino for the contemporary feel.
We had matching hardware for the front door and installed new frame, new door and door windows.
Before and after's.
